Wow what a wedding this was!!!

This was my first destination wedding, and boy what a cracker.

Marakesh was the destination and for me it was the first time I had been there.

I wish I could have stayed a little longer but due to other wedding commitments I had to fly in, shoot the wedding and fly home the next day.

I arrived to a very warm Marakesh late evening, around 11pm, to find all the wedding party

around the pool having a few beers. It would have been rude not

to join them so we spent the first evening socialising and getting to know each other more.

I got up early the next day but the wedding wasn't until 5.30pm so again the majority of the morning was spent around the pool with the guests and friends.

It was lovely to spend time with the family and guests in this way and the photographs reflect how at ease and comfortable everyone was with me and my camera.

It was a cloudy day but it got extremely hot in the afternoon, with the thermometer reaching 44 degrees. There were also some sand and wind storms to endure but thankfully these did not impact on any part of the wedding or the day.

Here is their story....
